Building Growth. Developing People.

My experience spans global brands, growing technology companies, and mission-driven organizations. Explore the work below to see how I approach growth, develop teams, and bring people together around a shared purpose.

My Linkedin will show you specific actions in each role, but below is a narrative from my previous positions:

Christianity Today

December 2024 to September 2026
Vice President of Marketing; promoted to SVP, Marketing & Advertising

Connecting Marketing and Mission

At Christianity Today, I led marketing and earned-revenue functions across subscriptions, advertising, audience development, customer service, and sales support. I joined as Vice President of Marketing and was promoted to SVP within my first year.

I worked with colleagues across Editorial, Product, Sales, and leadership to connect audience needs with business priorities. My focus included strengthening collaboration, clarifying goals, and bringing a data-led approach to marketing and customer experience.

The role brought together my growth marketing background and interest in mission-driven work, reinforcing the importance of balancing revenue goals with audience trust and supporting the people responsible for both.

Pixellu

April 2020 to September 2024
Vice President, Growth Marketing

Growth Beyond Acquisition

At Pixellu, I led the marketing & growth function for a global software company serving professional photographers. My responsibilities covered acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, referrals, and monetization.

Working closely with Product and Engineering, I introduced growth practices that connected marketing with the customer experience. We used behavioral insights, measurement frameworks, product-led marketing and experimentation to identify friction and prioritize opportunities.

I also established clearer goals and workflows while helping teammates develop their skills and ownership. The experience strengthened my belief that sustainable growth comes from customers experiencing value and teams understanding how their work contributes to it.

Jaumo / Joyride

December 2018 to April 2020
Head of Growth, Contract

Growing Across Markets

At Jaumo, I led growth across five consumer applications with more than 50 million cumulative downloads. The challenge was to support a shared growth strategy while respecting each product’s audience, positioning, and customer needs.

I managed acquisition investment across international markets, using segmentation, creative testing, and performance analysis to guide decisions. Working with Product and Engineering, I connected acquisition efforts with onboarding, conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.

The role also involved building processes for internal teammates, freelancers, and agencies. It strengthened my ability to enter a business as a contract leader, establish priorities, and coordinate execution across products and markets.

Student Loan Hero

September 2016 to July 2018
Digital Marketing Manager; promoted to Head of Paid Media / Senior Marketing Manager

Building Paid Growth

At Student Loan Hero, I progressed from Digital Marketing Manager to leading paid media, building the company’s paid acquisition framework and managing a $2 million marketing budget at positive ROI.

I partnered with Product, Content, and Design to develop campaigns, test landing pages, and make complex financial decisions easier for consumers to understand. Campaign and conversion data helped guide investment, while structured testing supported continuous improvement.

My work contributed to a platform that grew beyond one million monthly users before its $60 million acquisition by LendingTree. The experience combined measurable growth, customer trust, and the development of specialized marketers and partners.

Skyscanner

May 2014 to September 2016
Social Marketing Manager; promoted to Senior Growth Manager & Product Owner, North America

Connecting Product and Growth

I joined Skyscanner to develop its US social marketing presence before moving into North American growth leadership and product ownership. My work expanded from campaigns and creator relationships to coordinating a cross-functional growth team.

I led regional growth strategy, owned the product backlog, and translated customer insights into marketing and product priorities. Experimentation connected acquisition, activation, and retention across the United States and Canada.

I helped grow the North American business, supporting a footprint of six million monthly active users before Skyscanner’s $1.7 billion acquisition. The experience shaped my belief that marketing and product teams need shared goals and a clear understanding of customer value.

Burger King

July 2011 to May 2014
National Trade & Field Marketing Manager

Turning Corporate Strategy Into Franchisee Action

I began at Burger King through the 3G Capital Management Trainee Program, progressing through global communications, marketing for the organization’s foundation, and national trade and field marketing.

I partnered with franchisees, agencies, vendors, and field teams to translate national brand priorities into local campaigns. My marketing work included supporting the BK Scholars and initiating a Room to Read partnership that helped establish a children’s library in South Africa.

These roles gave me a foundation in brand execution, stakeholder relationships, and mission-driven communication. They taught me to connect strategy with practical execution while understanding the different people, communities, and business needs behind the work.
